We collect your personal and organisational information to: 

  • Assess organisational performance, practices, capacity, culture and context 
  • Compare and contrast information across multiple participants for diagnostic purposes 
  • Help organisations develop growth plans 
  • Help organisations research, design, and evaluate programs and services 
  • Follow up with survey participants to confirm or clarify survey information 
  • Collect payment for services 
  • Deliver communications based on your preferences 

We will not use your information for unrelated purposes without your consent. 

Who We Share Your Information With 
Besides our trained staff, we only share information you have provided us with: 

  • The organisation being assessed or supported to help improve organisational performance (identifiable information of survey participants is not disclosed unless permission is provided in advance)
  • Our secure third-party data collection and reporting platform (such as but not limited to Smartsheet, Brilliant Assessments, Sharepoint), to collect, store, analyse and automate reports.
  • Professional advisers or authorities where required by law

We do not sell personal information.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that third parties we share data with protect your information and use it only for authorised purposes.

Overseas Storage and International Access
Although Enhance Global Impact is based in New Zealand, some of the secure cloud-based systems we use (including Smartsheet) may store or process your information in other countries.

Where personal information is sent outside New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is protected by safeguards comparable to the protections required under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in New Zealand or other countries in accordance with this Policy.

  • Without your name or organisation’s name in a self-assessment, your report cannot be personalised.
  • Without your email address, we cannot send full assessment results.
  • Without providing organisation details when requesting a quote, we may be unable to provide accurate pricing.

How We Keep Your Information Safe
We store your information securely in cloud-based systems and restrict access to approved staff only.

Our staff are trained in privacy and confidentiality and have agreed to keep information secure. We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect personal information, though no system can guarantee absolute security.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information
Unless requested otherwise, we keep identifiable personal information for up to two years after our last engagement with you, unless a longer retention period is required by law. 

Information about organisational performance, practices, culture and context may be kept for research and product development purposes after this period, but only after removing identifiable details.

Your Rights
You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong
  • Ask us to stop using your information for direct marketing or follow up.

If you are located outside New Zealand, you may also have additional rights under your local laws.

Privacy Breaches
If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner as required under the Privacy Act 2020.
